The Hotel Mahayana is the ideal place to relax after a busy day of feelings in the discovery of Guanacaste or simply after a day at the beach.
You will be a few minutes away in walking distance from the beach as well as from the center of Tamarindo and its shops and restaurants. | | The Hotel Mahayana is composed in 6 attractive rooms with terrace looking onto the outside deck and the Jacuzzi.
All the rooms have private hot water bathroom, AC and ceiling fan.
There are also equipped with mini refrigerator.
Each looks onto a fitted out terrace.
Double rooms have one Queen bed and triple rooms have 3 single beds, all with orthopedic matresses.
The hotel is equipped with a common kitchen to accommodate you on the site to concoct you your own meals. | | There is also, free wifi, a laundry service, a reception at open hours and a parking at the entrance. |

Tamarindo has one of the most beautiful beaches of Costa Rica, ideal to learn about the surfing and the enjoyments of the beach. Guanacaste is known for the wide range of activities and national parks. | | Directions | Once in Tamarindo, go to the Hotel Pacific Park, turn left to the hotel Pasatiempo.
Follow the sign Dragon fly on the left (walk past the pizzeria la Baula and the restaurant Dragon Fly). Once you have passed the restaurant Dragon Fly the hotel will be 50m on the left. | | Transportation | From San José:
By Car: Inter Americana (the 1) heading North, follow the signs to Puntarenas (2 hours). Stay on Interamericana and follow the signs to Nicoya (1 hour). Follow directions to Santa Cruz (2 hours). Once past Santa Cruz, turn left to Tamarindo which is clearly shown on the road sign. Keep going on this road for 20km.
By public busPublic bus Empresa Alfaro; located in San Jose - Cost : $5.50 (6 hours)
By private bus (shuttles): By Interbus and Gray Line: Cost : $29 (5 hours).
By plane: Sansa and Nature Air - Cost : $80-$90 (1 hour).
From Liberia:
By Car: Take the 21 heading West, coming from the airport, turn right when you get to the main road (15 minutes). Make a right turn at the road sign to Tamarindo (just before the gaz station) (15 minutes). Turn left in front of the Pacific Emergencies Clinic and Drugstore (20 minutes). Make a right turn toward Tamarindo when you see the road sign "Tamarindo 4 km"
By public bus: Public Bus station. From the Papa John's 200 meters East, 300 meters north, 100 meters west. The company is named Transportes la pampa. - Cost : $1.20 (2 hours) By private bus (shuttles): With Interbus - Cost : $29 (1.15 hours).
By plane: By Nature Air - Cost : $40-$60 (15 minutes). | | Airport | Liberia (45min by car) |
