The bed and breakfast is located between the towns of Ostional to the South and San Juanillo to the North. The home is a new beautiful blend of old mission and traditional Costa Rican architecture. High vaulted ceilings of Run Run and Pojote (local hard woods) grace the interior, and handmade doors and windows add Old World charm. Expansive terraces open to the view of the Pacific Ocean to the West and to the jungle below. Relax and enjoy the bird and monkey watching from terraces, gardens or the pool.
There are also many Eco-Adventures available in the area; Beach Horseback riding, Canopy Tours, Bird Watching Tours, etc.

We are located just south of the small fishing village of San Juanillo and just north of Ostional and Ostional National Wildlife Refuge.

The small fishing village of San Juanillo has two beautiful beaches. One is primarily a swimming and snorkeling beach that is almost completely protected by rocks that surround the cove. The other beach contains a fishing cove that the Rosario River empties into, creating a wonderful habitat for marine life. Great fishing can be accomplished by surf casting from the beaches and estuaries, fishing off the rocks, or by renting a local boat (or "panga") and going out with a local fisherman. Turtles can be seen off the shore of San Juanillo and also in the water from the boats. The locals, or "Ticos", operate a fishing cooperative from where they sell sea bass, red snapper, marlin, tuna and other varieties. To buy fish you must get there early in the morning.

Ostional is a small village famous for the arrival of thousands of turtles at a time, referred to as the "arribadas." The high season for turtle watching is July through January. When the turtles are not arriving, great surfing, local soccer matches, good food and discoteque are all available to enjoy. The beach at Ostional is considered one of the best surfing beaches for miles, and the long expansive dark sand is great for walking on. One can actually walk south along the Ostional Refuge Beach all the way to the River Nosara and to the next wildlife sanctuary.
