Hotel normal, no lejos de la calle principal (3). En un sitio tranquilo y con vistas al mar.
Teníamos una terraza individual y una común grande y muy bonita.
Se agradecía el aire acondicionado.
El frigorífico muy útil.
El baño bien.
Muy buenos los desayunos.
Nota un 7/10

Hotel Olas is right on the water, an exotic old hotel that feels like a river boat. The staff were excellent, helpful in every way, friendly and very professional.

Although they announce you don't need a credit card to secure your booking, the reality is that they will only confirm it after receiving a bank transfer or a Western Union money transfer. No matter if you argue that this is a rather unusual and expensive way, they answer that it is the only way and if you don't like it, you'd better go somewhere else.

For the money the room was a fair value, clean but a little noisy. Staff was good and breakfast bar was nice with the water location, enjoyed the open balcony area at night also.

We really liked Hotel Olas because of the price and the location and best of all the comfy yellow sofas they had on public balconies. I sat there in the mornings drinking coffee and in the evening with my cocktail reading or watching the boats and birds go by. We will stay there again!

Comments (English):
Flew in from Panama City, and stayed 5 nights at the Olas. I was there for the big annual holiday, which was attended by far by the local population. That being said, because of its location around the corner from town, it was still quiet. I stayed upstairs, overlooking the water. Had a nice view. Occasionaly I got a little smell-I think it was coming off the lagoon. I did not swim around town. No problems...nice staff...
